A new match for the upcoming WWE pay per view Crown Jewel has been announced. Former tag team partners Mustafa Ali and Mansoor will collide in Saudi Arabia on Thursday October 21st.
Ali and Mansoor had been teaming together in recent weeks, but have been on a losing week during their recent contests on the red brand. The most recent loss came at the hands of Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, who dispatched the team of Mustafa Ali and Mansoor in quick fashion.
Following the sudden defeat, Ali was visibly frustrated and shoved Mansoor to the mat and stormed off in frustration. Later in the show, Mansoor was blindsided in an attack by his former tag partner backstage
Despite being on a losing streak on the main roster, Mansoor is highly likely to be victorious at Crown Jewel. Mansoor was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is currently undefeated at his home country pay per views. Some of his accolades from the Saudi Arabia shows include victories over Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler in singles competition. Mansoor was also victorious in the largest ever Battle Royal at Super ShowDown in 2019, where 51 superstars took part in the match.
Following multiple appearances on Saudi Arabia pay per views, Mansoor made his main roster debut in May 2021.
