All Elite Wrestling unveiled their newest championship on the October 6th episode of Dynamite. The new title is called the TBS Championship, and will be the second championship contested for in the women’s division of AEW.

The TBS Championship was officially unveiled in a segment featuring commentator Tony Schiavone and senior official Aubrey Edwards.

The holder of AEW’s newest championship will be decided as the result of a tournament. Currently, there is no official start date for this tournament. However, in the unveiling segment, Schiavone reminded the fans that Dynamite will be moving to the TBS network on January 5th 2022. It is unknown at this time whether this will be when the tournament to crown the new champion begins or concludes.

Despite the tournament not starting for over 3 months, multiple members of the AEW women’s division have already expressed their interest in the new championship.

As mentioned, this will be the second championship available to compete for in the women’s division of All Elite Wrestling. The other title is the AEW Women’s Championship, which is currently held by Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
