Sasha Banks made her return to WWE at the Extreme Rules pay per view following an absence of over 6 weeks. The Boss interfered in the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair, causing the match to be a no-contest.
Belair looked poised to regain the SmackDown Women’s Championship by setting up Lynch for the KOD. However, Banks ran to the ring and attacked the challenger, causing the match to end in disqualification. While Bianca did win this match, The Man retained her title as the championship can’t be lost via disqualification.
Not content with just attacking Bianca Belair, The Boss went on to attack the champion. The Boss turned to Lynch and hit a Backstabber onto Becky. As both women were left laying in the ring, Sasha made her way up the ramp and stated that she will see both Belair and Lynch this Friday on the upcoming edition of SmackDown.
Sasha Banks has not been seen in WWE since August. The Boss was initially supposed to face Bianca back at SummerSlam for the championship. However, just before the match was about to begin, it was announced that Banks was unable to compete. As a replacement, Becky Lynch made her surprise return to WWE and defeated the EST in 26 seconds to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
