WWE Announces Date And First Match For Saudi Arabia Return

WWE have announced that the Crown Jewel pay per view in Saudi Arabia will take place on Thursday October 21st. With this announcement, the first match for the show has also been confirmed. Roman Reigns will face Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia, with championship implications yet to be determined.

Currently, the match is being advertised as a standard singles match. However, if Roman Reigns is successful in his match at Extreme Rules, then the Universal Championship will be defended on the show. Reigns is currently scheduled to face “The Demon” Finn Balor at WWE’s next pay per view on September 26th.

WWE announced the return to Saudi Arabia during the SummerSlam broadcast on August 21st. Also during SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE. The Beast has since confronted both Roman Reigns and his special counsel Paul Heyman at the Super SmackDown episode from Madison Square Garden.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is currently the only match officially advertised to take place at Crown Jewel. Features of Wrestling will provide any updates to the pay per view card when WWE officially announces more matches.
