Ratings For NXT 2.0 Debut Episode

The viewership for the September 14th edition of NXT have been revealed. The show saw an average of 770,000 viewers tune in to the show. The numbers have been obtained from Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

The debut edition of the new look NXT has seen a jump in viewers from the previous week. The September 7th edition saw 601,000 viewers watch the final NXT in it’s previous form. The increase roughly calculates to 28%. It will be interesting to see moving forward if this viewing figure stays, or if the curiosity of the new look caused the spike in ratings as a one off.

The key demographic of 18-49 year old viewers has also seen an increase from September 7th. NXT 2.0 obtained a 0.21 rating in the key advertiser demographic, which equates to 275,000 viewers. This is up from the previous week’s number of 0.14.

The show saw a Fatal 4 Way match take place to crown a new NXT Champion. The match was won by Tommaso Ciampa, who is now a 2 time NXT Champion following this victory.
