Multiple matches and segments took place both before the after the cameras were rolling at the Super SmackDown show at Madison Square Garden. Fans in attendance have posted images, videos and results online from the show in New York City.
The pre-show match saw the RAW Women’s Champion in action. Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley before the blue brand started their live broadcast. It has been reported that Flair won the match in 5 minutes via submission.
Super SmackDown went off the air with the return of “The Demon” Finn Balor, who confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Happy Corbin then came out for his dark match and met “The Demon” face to face, but then quickly attempted to retreat. Balor then attacked Corbin and left.
The second dark match saw Corbin face off against RAW star Drew McIntyre. The match ended in disqualification, with Corbin using a steel chair on McIntyre. Post match, The Scottish Warrior stood tall following a Claymore to end the segment.
The final non-televised match that the Madison Square Garden got to see was The Mysterios and John Cena teaming up to face The Bloodline faction of Roman Reigns and The Usos. The team of Cena, Rey and Dominik won the match following an Attitude Adjustment to Jimmy Uso.
