AEW Drops Below One Million Viewers

The ratings are in for the August 11th edition of AEW Dynamite. All Elite Wrestling’s flagship show drew an average of 979,000 viewers. The numbers have been obtained from Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics:

The recent rating ends AEW’s consistent viewership of over one million viewers. Dynamite has drawn a seven figure audience since the July 14th Fyter Fest Night One edition. It should be noted that the August 11th edition of Dynamite has been the first regular edition of the show since July 7th, which also saw an average rating of under 1 million.

The key demographic of 18-49 has also seen a drop. Dynamite had a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 range, down from the previous week of 0.46.

The show saw Chris Jericho compete in his fourth labour. Jericho defeated Wardlow, and as a result will take on MJF in a rematch on the August 18th Dynamite. The stipulation for the final match in the series is the banning of Judas. Chris Jericho can’t use his Judas Effect finisher or walk out to the Fozzy song Judas.
