More matches have been announced for NXT TakeOver 36 following the results of the August 10th edition of the black and gold brand.
The first match will be for The Million Dollar Championship. LA Knight will once again face Cameron Grimes for the Million Dollar title. However, if LA Knight is successful in his defence, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase will become the butler for LA Knight.
The rivalry between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly is also set to come to a conclusion on August 22nd. Billed as The Undisputed Finale, Cole and O’Reilly will face each other in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The first match will be a standard singles match and the second will be a street fight. NXT General Manager William Regal also announced that if a third fall is required, the final match will be inside a steel cage.
The current card for NXT TakeOver 36 is as follows:
- Karrion Kross (c) vs. Samoa Joe – Singles match for the NXT Championship.
- Raquel Gonzalez (c) vs. Dakota Kai – Singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship.
- WALTER (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov – Singles match for the WWE United Kingdom Championship.
- LA Knight (c) vs. Cameron Grimes – Singles match for the Million Dollar Championship. If LA Knight is victorious, Ted DiBiase will become Knight’s butler.
- Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly – Undisputed showdown 2 out of 3 falls match. Match 1 is a standard singles match, match 2 will be a street fight. If necessary, match 3 will be a steel cage match.
