Nikki A.S.H. is the new RAW Women’s Champion. Nikki cashed in her Money in the Bank contract after holding the briefcase for just over one day.
The cash in came after a match between Rhea Ripley and now former champion Charlotte Flair. The Queen defeated The Nightmare at Money in the Bank to capture her 5th RAW Women’s Championship. Flair celebrated her win on RAW, and stated that she could defeat Ripley on any night of the week. WWE official Adam Pearce then made the championship match official:
The Women’s Championship match ended in disqualification, following Charlotte striking Rhea with the championship belt. Ripley, angered by this, hit a Riptide on Flair to the floor on the outside of the ring. Nikki’s music hit instantly as the almost superhero sprinted down to the ring and cashed in her contract. Following a cross body, Nikki pinned Charlotte to become the new RAW Women’s Champion.
After the match, Nikki celebrated in the crowd as the show went off the air. The celebrations continued as the cameras stopped rolling. However, WWE have uploaded the off the air footage to their YouTube page:
This is Nikki’s first singles championship in WWE. Previously, Nikki A.S.H. has held the Women’s Tag Team Championships twice with Alexa Bliss. This successful cash-in means that the women’s briefcase maintains the 100% success rate.
