SmackDown will see the fallout from WrestleMania Backlash and a title match. The only announced match is for the Intercontinental Championship. Champion Apollo Crews will defend his title against challengers Big E, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
WWE have announced Hell in a Cell as their next pay per view on June 20th. With this in mind, there is a possibility that matches might be announced for the event. Universal Champion Roman Reigns retained his title at WrestleMania Backlash, so a new challenger will be needed for the event. The promotional video for the show also highlights the growing descension between The Head of the Table and cousin Jimmy Uso. Twin brother Jey has already agreed to fall in line and acknowledge Roman, and he will look to convince his twin brother to do the same.
Also at WrestleMania Backlash, Rey and Dominik Mysterio became the first ever father and son to become WWE Tag Team Champions. The Mysterio’s will also be looking for the next challengers for their titles.
