This episode is the final episode of main roster WWE programming before WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday 16th May.

Currently, only one match has been officially announced for the show. The match in question is for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will defend their titles against challengers Tamina and Natalya.

While not formally announced, expect the final build for SmackDown’s matches for WrestleMania Backlash to take place. This will include Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro for The Universal Championship, which will be The Swiss Cyborg’s first ever World Championship match.

With only 5 matches announced for Sunday’s show so far, more contests may be confirmed on the show. Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews has seen Big E, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn all wanting to challenge him for the gold. Therefore, a fatal 4 way match is likely to be announced for either WrestleMania Backlash or an upcoming edition of SmackDown.
